Here’s a couple that will cost you nothing:

• Close the drapes before you leave for work.
• Do your dishes in the dishwasher, but shut it off before the dry cycle and open the door to let them air dry.

• Turn your computer and lights off when not using them.
• Close the door to rooms you don’t use often.
